St. Mark's Christian Education Program
The CEC Office will be accepting registrations for the 2011-2012 school year beginning April 1st and ending May 15th. Each family registered the current school year should receive a packet by mail in early April. Any new family who is planning to send their child/children to our program please call the office (908-850-0652). Registration takes place by mail or by visiting the CEC office. Welcome to St. Mark's. The education of our children in the faith is a joint work between the family and the parish. The family is the primary place where children learn values and are instructed in the faith ways of the family. St. Mark's seeks to build on that through our instructional program and liturgical experiences. We are happy to partner with you in the most important work.
St. Mark's offers the following programs:
Grades K, 1 Sundays 1st & 3rd of the month
8:00 a.m.-9:15 a.m. followed by 9:30 Mass and liturgy of the word for children
Grades 2, 3, 4 & 5 Mondays 4:30-5:45 p.m. OR
Tuesdays 4:30-5:45 p.m.
Grades 6, 7 & 8 Wednesdays 6:00-7:15 p.m. (JYM- junior youth ministry)
The classes will be divided into groups A and B and meet on alternating weeks - class/activity schedule will be made available when finalized
Grades 9 & 10 (SYM- senior youth ministry) the following schedule will be in effect
GRADE 9 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month 9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m. followed by 11 a.m. Mass
GRADE 10 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month 11 a.m. Mass followed by class sessions to 1:30 p.m.

Registration for our program usually takes place in the spring prior to the new school year. Late and new registrations are accepted any time in the Christian Education Office. Please call 908-850-0652.
At the beginning of the school year a calendar with class schedules is given to each family. Classes are held weekly, except when noted on the calendar. Schedule is subject to change, please check www.stmarksnj.org (our parish website) for updates, or tune to WRNJ (1510 AM) for late-day snowfalls. St. Mark's will follow the LV Public School schedule for days off and snow closures.
